GMC Yukon Remote starter power wire

HI

Im installing the Evo-gmt4 currently and a little confused on the instructions.How do I determine if my parking lights are pulling more than 1 amp or that the remote starter needs to be connected directly to the battery.Thanks

If you are using negative parking light like the guide suggest, it won't draw more than 1 amp.
