Flash limit 9/8

I've reached the flash memory limit

I've been experimenting with firmware

Serial number 001A07 389952

What should I do next? Why is the number of firmware updates limited in the first place? I'm not an experienced user, and I wanted to understand how it works but hit the reprogramming limits.

The flash counter has been reset.

Why is the number of firmware updates limited in the first place?

Keep in mind a remote starter install should not require having to flash the module more than once especially when installing the product in a supported vehicle. Once installed and functional, there is no reason to go back and flash it again. If you are trying to install the module in a vehicle that is not listed on fortin.ca this means it was never tested or confirmed functional for that car.

I hoped that Teramont is the European counterpart to the Atlas, so I chose Fortin because their solution is more elegant than what, for example, Starline offers. Now, I'm trying to install it in the hope that the settings for the Atlas will work for the Teramont.

What is the difference between wire-to-wire setup and setting it up with a T-harness? Based on the diagram, I thought that the T-harness provides the same connection as wire-to-wire but without damaging the factory wiring.
One requires physical connections while the other is connectors, that's the only difference.

If the CAN bus protocols and electrical schematics for the Atlas and Teramont are identical, then the Fortin module should function correctly. Are there any additional requirements?

I cant confirm that. In theory, practice should work like theory. In practice, it doesn’t always work out that way.
