Can't save options on Flash link

0 votes
I am trying to install an EVO-ONE for remote start on a 2009 Acura RDX but I am having trouble with the flash-link-2.  I connected the device, flashed to the recommended firmware update, then when I changed the options C1 and D2 to "ON", I receive an error message that says "the current unit does not support this feature."  Could you please help me figure this out.

Also, I installed the system with the THAR-ONE-HON1 T harness and there was a brown wire with an inline fuse that was not mentioned in the 57691 guide.  It is on pin E1. Is this wire needed for this application?

D1 is an EVO-ALL option. The menu you are currently in cannot distinquish an evo-one from an evo-all since the bypass portion is seen as an evo-all!

Follow this guide to learn how to enable 3x lock on the EVO-ONE:

I would suggest resetting the bypass, following the guide i linked to enable the 3xlock start and then reprogramming the unit to the vehicle. This is the reset procedure for the data portion of the evo-one: http://wirecolor.com/en/qa/50193/faq-how-do-i-reset-my-evo-all?show=50193#q50193

That brown wire is used on vehicles that have (+)parking lights. This won't concern your vehicle since the parking light trigger is (-).

I don't see anything for D1 that you are talking about.  The install guide for 2007-2010 RDX says to enable option D2, however the unit will not allow me to select that option. It gives me an error message that says the current unit does not support that feature.
Seeing as this is an Evo-One for 3x lock you need option C1 in the bypass on. Also turn on option 38.2 in the remote start.

This will give you 3x lock on your vehicle.

Also turn of option D4 your vehicle is not hybrid.

You are on the right guide, You are correct that you will need to turn on D2 and C1,

Please do a master reset like Robert told you to above.http://wirecolor.com/en/qa/50193/faq-how-do-i-reset-my-evo-all?show=50193#q50193

1.Please unplug the Evo-One unit from the Flashlink Updater.

2.Verify on the bottom right side of the screen, it should say connection mode : bypass

3.Plug in Evo-One unit, click on Evo One Options tab.

4.Please turn ON option A1 to A11, C1 and D2 ONLY

5.Click on save options

6.Please unplug the Evo-One unit from the Flashlink Updater.

7. Click on the TOGGLE button bottom right side of screen, 2.Verify on the bottom right side of the screen, it should say connection mode: remote starter

8.Plug in Evo-One unit, click on Evo One Options tab.

9.enable function 38.2 (system control by oem remote)

10.Click on save options

Thank you.

edit: may have fixed my own problem
