Thanks Mathieu, I installed my evo all according to the guide you sent me, and the car doesn

DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOU ARE USING THE RL2 red connector from the t-harness

I would start by disconnecting  the  GREEN, WHITE, DARK BLUE (if connected), PINK/BLACK  from the 20 pin connector.

Also disconnect the BROWN wire from the T-harness  that you connected to the vehicle's parking light wire.

Make sure that the White/Black wire is connected  to the (-) push to start wire,  DO NOT GO JUST BY WIRE COLOR test with a digital multimeter to see that the wire you are connecting to has 0vDC when the push to start button pressed and 12vDC when released.

Test that all oem features go back to normal operation.

Try to remote start again, ONLY after you get the vehicle starting with the remote starter do you start to reconnect the remaining wires one by one, and test after each connection.

Yes, I
Hi again. Well i disconeccted green, white, pink/black also brown cable. Also did check white/black wire to pts button and is a (-) polarity but shows 0v released and 12v pushed (instead of 0v pushed and 12v released) is this a problem? No other cable in the pts shows this condition of change. There is only other (-) cable but its always 12v.

Still no remote start, and yellow key light in the dash is still on. The car starts fine with the push button.

I thank you in advance for the support.
Are you using a test light or multimeter to test this wire? how is it wired?

The vehicles PTS will show either 12v or nothing then show negative when pushin the button.

If you want to replicate starting your car.

Push on the brake, then ground the (-)Push-to-Start wire on the vehicle. With a key in the car, your vehicle will start if you have the right wire.
Where the White / Black wire from our 20 pin connector from the Evo ALL  connefcts to.

Can you post a picture or send a picture of the connector and wire you connected to on the vehicle push to start switch

you can email it to support@ifar.ca
Yes Robert you are right, The vehicles PTS will show either 12v or nothing then show negative when pushin the button and When I ground the (-) pts and the car starts, so I believe it`s the rigth cable (brown).

At this moment i have connected tharniss 1 harness and white/black wire to pts button and no remote starter yet.

Saw the picture, seems like the right wire and your tests alos conlcude the same.

Are you using the oem remote 3xlock to start the car or an RF-KIT?

If using 3x lock start, watch for these:

  1. Doors should be closed, hood should be closed
  2. press lock every second, not super fast.
  3. every time you press lock on the oem remotes, the blue led on the evo will flash
  4. if the evo-all is actually attempting to start after doing 3xlock, the RED LED on the unit will turn and the brake lights will also turn on

To solve this a little faster, you can also call tech support directly. 1-877-336-7797

Yes Robert oem remote 3xlock to start it.

Doors and hood closed. Every time I press lock in the oem remote the blue led on the evo flashes, but after doing 3xlock no red led and no brake lights turn on.

Do you think I need to reflash the evo, should I need the flashlink cable?

No red light would mean either,

  1. option D1 and C1 are not enabled
  2. the dark blue wire from the 20-pin is grounded. when the unit is set to 3xlock options, that input will actually prevent remote starting if it is grounded.

A quick way to know if the unit is in stand alone remote starter mode, ground the dark blue wire from the 20-pin connector. If the RED LED turns On, the stand alone options for 3xlock are not enabled.

With the service number you gave earlier, options seem to be set properly. If you did a master reset at any point in time though, those options will get reset back to default and would require that you go back to the Flash-Link Updater and enable options C1 and D1.
