2002 avalanche evo one programming

i have installed the evo one with the required connections and flashed it using flash-link. i get a solid blue led after plugging evo one in. when i turn the key to ON, the led goes out, like it said, but it never goes past that point. im thinking it might be something with the OBDII connection and ive checked it twice and seems to have a good connection. any ideas what might be issue?

A few things you can check:

Make sure your module is flashed to firmware 70.18. This is the version required for the 2002 avalanche.

If you are using a t-tap for the obdII connection, remove it and make a solid spliced connection.

i hard spliced into the odbII connection and im still having the same issue. hold til blue, plug in, turn key, light goes off and nothing from there. i did notice that i had 2 yellow wires at the steering column, one goes to the fuse panel and one goes to a large connector. i am guessing the starter wire is the one that goes to the connector, correct? the previous remote start that was in there, had made a connection between the two somehow. i pulled it up a while back and didnt take pics of how it was done, i know, my bad. any help would be awesome
