Mazda take-over how

0 votes
Hello. I have a 2018 Mazda 3 from Canada.
I press lock - unlock - lock - the car starts. I open the door, press start stop twice and .... press the brake pedal and the car will turn off ... What should I do not to turn it off? Maybe I can't hijack my car so that it doesn't turn it off when the brake is pressed, maybe I need to turn on the flash link?
I found something like this in the manual "If Smart-Key is not detected, the vehicle will turn off" ..... .. Maybe it doesn't detect my key? Where should I put it to detect it?

With the vehicle remote started, does the blue led on the evo blink when press unlock on the remote prior to opening the door.

You can also set it to shut down on door open by simply turning on option D3 in the evo-one options.
sorry. you asked if the LED was on. On the module or on the ftx remote?

With the vehicle remote started, does the blue led on the evo blink when you press unlock on the oem remote prior to opening the door.

I did as you wrote and the LED does not blink
That would explain why take over is not functioning.

Does the blue led on the evo blink if you repeat the same test but send unlock from the rf kit instead?
I'll see tomorrow, wait for a reply. thanks
I'll do a test tomorrow
Hi, I did the test and the diode is not blink..
and now what about this Mazda takeover? what's the problem?
The problem is that the remote is not being detected by the evo, thus resulting in it shutting down when you open the door.

You can try a different firmware version, if that doesnt solve it I would suggest turning on optoin D3 - door open shutdown.
OEM remote?
please write where and what version of the software to download?
When plugged into the flasher, click view other firmware and select the version below the one you are on now.
and how to connect? laptop flash manager- OBD in the car?
because I don't know how to connect ...
You must have something like that?
or maybe restart Evo?
I was under the impression you had the flash link updater. My apologies.

If you do not have one I would leave it as is, changing the firmware is not a gurenteed fix to the vehicle shutting down rather a troubleshooting step to try.
what should i do?
and how would I buy an updater, use it and then return it
Leave the vehicle as it is, It will shut down on door open.
but it turns off when you press the brake
I don't want it to turn off, just for it to go ... :-)
or maybe the takeover is not enabled and you need a flash updater?
If the unit is installed following the mazt1 method and 2 key programming take over is not supported.

Do you know what method of installation was used? and what t-hanress was used?
Hello. Unfortunately, I do not know. I imported the car from Canada.
Maybe take a picture of herness?
Yes take a picture of the tag on the t-harness this should tell me how its installed.
But how do I send a photo?
you can send it to support@ifar.ca or click the image icon in the reply box and attach a file.
I sent pics by e-mail.
