2013 Quest - will T-Harness accomplish all connections for Remote Start.

I am interested in your EVO-NIST1 bundle of the EVO-ALL and Nissan T Harness.  I have reviewed the install documentation but still have some questions.

I want to use this system for remote start, my vehicle is a 2013 Quest with Push-to-Start.  I do not have a seperate remote start system.

Does the use of the T-Harness accomplish all the wire connections necessary?

Hi Ryan,

Some extra wiring will be required. Maybe 3 or 4 wires. The rest is all covered by the tharness. In the install guide you will see which connection are left to connect.

  • Page 3 shows which connectors the tharness plugs into
  • Page 4 shows you the extra connections.

Push-to-start connector and A19 Connection - which harness?

I have managed to determine all the connections. Except this one, I have a guess and looking for confirmation from this Q&A.

Page 4, for the A19 connection - it seems to want to connect to the original nissan wire in the harness (for the Quest, the purple/mauve wire).  Is this correct?

Futher trying to understand connectors at the back of the Push-to-Start button, shown on page 3, are the original nissan connecters re-connected or are they left unattached after they are replaced at the button by the THAR-NIS1 connections?

For the T harness, there is a male-female pair of every connector that it will interface with the car. You will be replacing wherever the original connector was connected with the t-harness, and then reconnecting the original connector into the T-harness.

A19 is not required, it's to shut off auto lights after remote start if you have auto lights. By factory they time out after a certain time anyway. A19, does yes, connect to a purple wire in the illustrated connector at the BCM.
