Nissan Altima to start using EVO-NIST1 only when brake is pushed

Question

The remote start works great with key fob out of vehicle, the only problem is that I need to manually press the brake for it to start.  Is the EVO-ALL suppose to send something to simulate that the brake is pressed?

I have the same problem (2016 Juke), I lock-lock-lock and the unit cycles but shows the 'press brake' icon on the dash and it does not start. Haven't checked if it will with my foot on the brake as it got dark and cold and had to put the car back together so my wife can go to work tomorrow.

I actually got it to work by swapping the 2 red connectors on t-harness.
