quick question...

I installed the EVO ONE with the THAR-ONE-MAZ3 T-Harness on my 2016 Mazda 3 (automatic tranny, push-to-start).  I installed the OEM Mazda hood switch part #KD53-V7-629 for my 3.  The remote start works fine using the LOCK-UNLOCK-LOCK sequence on the OEM key fob.  My question is - the fob sequence also starts the car with any of the doors open and it will also start it with the hood up.  Is this correct?  Or should it not start due to doors or hood being open?

Thanks for your time/input.

It will start with a door open.

It should not start with the hood up. You should install a hood pin switch onto the pink/black wire of the evo-one.

If you added a factory switch you would need to have that featured turn on in the bcm (if possible) by the dealer scan tool.
