What’s needed? 2017 Audi S3 PP DSG Virtual cockpit

Question

As title states what do I need to order to install remote start capabilities. Which system EvoRS, Evo One, T-harness AUD1 or 2, bypass modules, etc.

Hello,

You would need the following parts for remote start from the OEM remote on a 2017 S3 Push to start automatic transmission:

- evo-all

- thar-vw1

- flash link updater

- 1x vehicle key to be sacrificed

Please note keybypass is not supported on vehicles equipped with the virtual cockpit, key sacrifice required.

Would a EVO-ALL-442 work as well and the included remotes to replace/takeover the factory one(s)?

yes the evo-all-442 would work and it would include 2 aftermarket long range remotes, however they will NOT replace your oem remote, you would need to carry both remotes with you.

Does the one key that is sacrificed count?

Fortin remotes cannot replace the OEM remote, even the one you sacrifice for the install. You will always need to carry the OEM remote with you when using the vehicle.
