2013 Hyndai Genesis PTS - Does not have PCM in location for CAN/Keysense/Ignition..

Question

I am installing a Evo ALL stand alone on a 2013 Hyndai Genesis Sedan Push-To-Start. I have looked extremely carefully all over and there is no PCM for the white 20pin connector needed to connect Can HIGH/LOW, Keysense, and Ignition wires i need according to this diagram http://ifar.ca/download/9641/stand_alone_evo-all_hyundai_kia.rev-20130604.pdf   I am using Connection 3 and this car does not have the connector or module for Picture reference #1. It looks like there is a spot there for the module but this car is did not come with one. I need wiring diagram for those 4 wires. Please let me know ASAP. Thank you A.G.

What is the vehicles production date?

 

The installation may actually be somthing similar to this.

If this is the case, Stand Alone would not be available.

It is a sedan and production date is DEC 7/12. Why is there no Stand Alone option?

Is there any way i can get new harnesses for my evo all because i cut the unecessary wires as per the stand alone diagram that shows is available for that year on your site. I also quoted the customer a lower price since it showed standalone option and now i have to charge more to install aftermarket RS with Evo All and I dont want to have to lose money on another evo all just for the Harnesses and have a bypass go to waste?

To remote start the vehicle, high current ouputs are required to power ignition/accessory and start. Hyundai made changes on that vehicle starting Nov.2012 and those changes do not allow us to start the vehicle like we do on the pre-Oct.2012 models.

Only other question i have is my above comment on the harnesses and if it needs a high current power for ignition and accessory isnt the 5 amp fuse for 12v+ for RS input on the diagram you told me to use for evo all going to be to low?

In 2 and half months you're the first to actually notice that. Use the fuses that come the remote starter. 5Amps is way to low.

That being said with the two inputs for +12v that always come on a aftermarket RS, can they both be connected to the White single connector as per same diagram or is there another location that you know of?

You can connect both starter powers to that one indicated in the diagram.

No problem. Thanks for pointing out the fusing issue. The guide has been updated accordingly and a note will be put on the vehicle search about stand alone not being available for models built after Nov.2012

Im sorry but i have one more question. According to the diagram you told me to use, there is only igniton 1 that needs to be wired from RS. I was looking at this diagram connection 3...

It shows that there is a igntion 2 where your accessory wire is to be wired and there accessary is to be wired in different location? Let me know your opinion if i should only use ignition per your diagram?

Our RnD team wires it as per our diagram. The DBALL may connect it that way for their own reasons. iDatalink also connects it at completely different locations.

Ideally though, you should be testing that Accessory wire to see if it acts as an Accessory or Ignition.
