What do I need to buy for remote start on 2013 Kia Optima SXL with PTS

0 votes
I see there is the EVO- All and EVO- ONE available for my vehicle but I am confused as to which one or both

will work to give the remote start feature using factory keyfobs without buying a seperate remote start system.

It appears after reading about both, that they would both offer that or maybe I misunderstood.

Would appreciate clarification/ help with the correct product.

Thank You

Both modules will work in your vehicle, the difference is:

Evo-One is a remote starter and immobilizer bypass in one unit, you will also be able to do 3xlock start with this module (Flashlink Updater-2 required, sold separately)

Evo-All is an immoblizer bypass only, you WILL NEED a complete remote starter sytem on top of the Evo-All, (Flashlink Updater required) and 3xlock start will not be possible unless you purchase a specific remote starter that has this capability.

Thank you.

Thank You,

That is what I was understanding I thought but started getting confused.

The next problem . Tring to find out the cost of the Evo One and how to get it.

Does not allow to buy it here online and no local dealer/installer even in NC that is selling it according to  this site. The installer here in NC, has contacted Fortin about trying to purchase/become a supplier but they havent heard anything back.

Have you tried entering your zipcode here:https://fortin.ca/en/distributors/

to find out who the closest distributor is to your area? They will be able to tell you who the closest retailer is to you.

Yes, closest is several hours away. Again, the car installer/shop has tried to contact Fortin a couple times to get there products but has had no luck in getting answers/respsonse.

I guees I will need to find a way to get the product some how..

Thanks
The distance to the distributor should not matter much, just call them up to get the closest retailer to you
