2008 Highlander Standard Key wiring

0 votes
I have a 2008 Toyota Highlander Standard Key (No Immobilizer) that I bought an EVO-ONE and T Harness for. The Install Guide 58481 Rev. 20171221 tells me to use Connection 1 but the connectors are not the same. That guide is for a 2003-2007 so the connectors are different and in different locations.

My problem is with the RX TX/ Data wires. I have the Key Sense wire hooked up and it is reading key insertion but I still cannot figure out how to get this to work. I am trying to get 3X Lock to work on this vehicle.

This vehicle is NOT 3x lock compatible, you will require a seperate rfkit to control the system.

In the guide it says Highlander 2004-2010 are all the same. The immobilizer connector is connected to the immobilizer ring that is the black plastic part that is around the key barrel where you insert the key.
