How do i takeover vehicle after start

Do i put key in on position, then step on break.

After you vehicle has been remote started.  Unlock your vehicle with the key, or key fob,  Open the door, put your key into the ignition, click it 2 twice, that should put it in the Run postion then hit the brake.  This will transfer the vehicle from running on the remote start to the key.
