Fortin Evo One with THAR-ONE-HON3 not properly working anymore???

0 votes
Please help. The Fortin Evo one that i purchased is not working properly anymore. All the button on valet key is working execpt the 3x lock command to remote start. It was used to be working but not anymore. I just have this module only a week. What i did i make a call from Fortin for support tech but after that the module is not working properly anymore. Are these module have an special access only for professional installer? Or maybe my the module is broken? But i doubt it cuz the ready mode is still properly working. I do have a video that is working to proved it and i know ived done the right procedure on installing for the safety of my family and others. Please Help.... SN 002B04 042049

How many times do the lights flash AFTER attempting to remote start?

Module will lose ready mode when:

  • Hand brake is lost
  • a door is opened after ready mode is set
  • hood/trunk is detected open

Without a TEST-ONE , it will be hard to diagnose which status if knocking out the EVO from Ready Mode since it is all on CAN-BUS. Keep in mind, if it was working before, and now it stopped, maybe something is wrong on the car..... bad door pin, bad hood trigger, burnt light in the back.. those can all cause ready mode to be lost. Without proper tools to diagnose the problem, it's a bit hard for anyone to test anything.

No flashing light after the remote start command but there is a 3x flashing light after the ready mode is been done. Check the manual for the eve and it was said 3x Door open - Zone 3. Where should i start from here to fix it?

Three flashes on shutdown after ready mode is set is normal. My car does that to.

Start by disconnecting anything that is connected to the PINK/BLACK wire of the evo-one.

There is none connected on Pink/black wire for hood pin. I just electric tape it. Is there amything on bypass and remote tab settings would trigger fo disabling the ready mode?
