Parking lights stay on after using lock/unlock/trunk features?

+1 vote
I have a Fortin INT-SL-PL installed in my 2002 Chevrolet Impala with a Compustar CS800-S remote starter.  When we use the lock/unlock/trunk features on the fobs the parking lights stay on indefinitely after the headlights have shut off.  How can we fix this?
closed with the note: Connect parking lights to car, not to the intsl.  Compustar CS800 does not support Fortin datalink, follow without datalink connections.

Disconnect the parking light connection of the compustar system. see if the problem persists.

This also sounds like something that is been installed for a while now. It's highly possible the problem is not coming from the remote starter or the bypass module.

It is not hooked up now, we are using the Data Link.  The system has been installed for about a week or two.

Also, now they only stay on when we lock the car.
I am also having this problem with an 03 oldsmobile bravada. The parking lights stay on when I hit the lock button on my remote. I am using a compustar 4900s with the fortin int-sl-pl. There is not a parking light wire hooked up to the compustar, it is all operating through the fortin device. Does anyone have an answer for this? I can't even use it right now because my lights will stay on when I lock the doors.
