Can I drive my car without a valid key?.

Can I drive my car (not remote start) without  OEM key? if I nstalled

1- EVO KEY or,

2- EVO ALL or,

3- EVO ONE.

No, our units are not designed to replace a valid key in any vehicle.

However, if you have a keyless car(one that does not require the key in the ignition) and the car is running via remote start; the car can be driven away with without the key. So, the car could be started remotely(no key) then driven off without the use of the key ever. There are safety options to help prevent this such as enabling the option to turn the car off if the door is opened before an unlock command is given from the fob.

 

The car would HAVE to be running via a remote start for that to occur and would HAVE to be a keyless car such as a Nissan Intellikey vehicle.
