Flashing EVO One for use with 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited and there's no option to use OEM key fob.

I have an EVO One with a THAR-GM1 and was able to successfully program it (using the program button and key/ignition), after wiring it into my 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited Manual Transmission. However when I attempted to flash it using a Flashlink 4 and my laptop, I don't  have an option to use the factory key fob. I double and triple checked the settings, but under OEM Key Fob and it only says that it's not available. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

That is correct, 3x lock is not offered on these flip key GM's as the OEM remote is dead once the vehicle is remote started. As stated on the Fortin website, RF kit is required.

Best regards.

Thank you for the response, derek g! I was under the understanding that it would work, but I would have to use the key to enter the car, because the fob doesn't work while the car is running.
Yes you could do that as long as youre ok with putting th key in the door everytime, takeover may not work properly either. At the falsh link in Pro Mode you would need to turn on C1 in the bypass and 33.2 & 38.2 in the remote starter.
