2016 Explorer Police Interceptor

Has anyone done one of these yet?  Have 3 coming in, standard keys (no transponder at all) and no factory remotes?

Will I even need an EVO-ALL or hardwire aftermarket remote start?

EVOALL is cheaper than most aftermarket remote starter so I think you should get evoall and t-harness for quick installation. The vehicle should still have the transponder connector at the steering column you will need to connect the t-harness to it. Program the EVOALL with the blue LED and turn ignition ON. When blue flash turn ignition OFF.

Have not seen the police pack explorer but in most cases they are the same without transponder, the CAN network should still work as usual

Need some help with this one guys.  This vehicle does not have factory keyless remotes, no alarm, no transponder.  It does not have the immobilizer plug at or around the ignition harness.  Installed EVO-FORT2 programmed without transponder bypass.  Programmed with blue LED on, turned on key, blue LED flashes, turn key off.  I have no control over door locks and no other CAN functions are working.  When key is turned on EVO yellow LED comes on solid.

After testing inputs to ground and working, had to reprogram for D2D and everything working now.
The t-harness gets the ground from the transponder connector, if the vehicle does not have one cut the black wire from the t-harness and connect it directly to ground.
Wanted to ask how you fixed the issue. I have Evo all installed in 2016 explorer PIU

and will not remote start. Lock and unlock functions work. I added the hood switch without the dealer activation. Does not remote start. How did you change it to D2D? And did you ground the wire directly to chassis from t harness?
Walter did you figure this out? i have a 16 fpiu install next week and want to make sure im ordering the right stuff. thanks
