When trying to program remote RF442W the lights will not go out.

Press the program button > Insert remote transmitter > Blue and Red lights come on > Release the program button but the llights do not go off. Any idea what may be causing this? Installation on a 2017 Ford Escape. Thanks!

After completing the steps that you have outlined you must click and hold the button again. The lights will go out for a bit, then come back on and you can release. Then insert the key to the run position and you can begin pairing the remotes.

Hi, the issue is the lights will not go out as outlined in step 4. After releasing the program button the lights stay on. Pressing the button again also does not work. Everything works up until step 4. Thx.
